What US teams usually hire us for

We focus on realistic constraints: release dates, budgets and communication between management and dev teams. Our goal is to ship, not to flood you with abstract test documents.

Silicon Valley methodology

Structured, not “clicking around”

Portnov Computer School background means we follow SDLC/STLC principles and app store guidelines. We design test scopes that match your risk areas, instead of randomly clicking through screens.

The communication bridge

US management · EU dev teams

Based in Spain, fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish. We act as a bridge between US product owners and Eastern European developers, so bugs are reproduced and fixed faster.

Cost-efficiency

Senior-level QA at European rates

Get focused QA support starting at $35/hr. No hiring overhead, no long-term contracts — we plug in as your overflow QA team during busy release periods.

Small and focused

Boutique studio, direct access

We are a specialized micro-studio. You work directly with the lead QA engineer and delivery owner, not with anonymous ticket queues.

What we can help you with

We provide manual QA and light development for realistic apps and sites. Bring your own product or ask us to build and test a small demo end-to-end.

Mobile apps

Mobile app testing

Manual testing on Android (real devices and emulators), basic iOS simulator checks, UX verification against platform guidelines, crash reporting and log collection for your dev team.

Web & SaaS

Manual functional testing

Smoke, sanity and regression cycles for web apps, admin panels and SaaS tools. Core flows, edge cases, negative scenarios, state persistence and error handling.

Languages & locales

Localization testing (L10n)

Visual and functional checks for English, Spanish and Cyrillic locales. Text expansion/truncation, broken layouts, mixed languages and encoding issues.

Small products

End-to-end for small apps

For compact tools and marketing sites we can handle both implementation and QA: from prototype to bug reports and release-ready checklists.

Tools & workflows

We are comfortable adapting to your stack. Below are the tools we commonly use and can work with.

Daily work with: Chrome DevTools, Android Studio, Postman, Slack, Notion.
Ready to adapt to: Jira, Linear, TestRail, Xcode or your in-house tools.

Sample projects & QA work

Below are a few real projects we’ve built and tested ourselves. For each one we can provide sample test checklists and bug reports on request.

Portfolio Website with Demo Media CMS

Single-page portfolio for a makeup artist with an admin area and Explorer-style media manager.

Web app + admin Manual QA

The app exposes a public portfolio page and a demo admin panel. In demo mode anyone can open the admin area, upload or reorder media and instantly see the portfolio update.

We handled both implementation and QA: defined the test scope, executed manual checks and documented issues with clear steps to reproduce.

What we tested
  • Public flows: opening galleries, navigating sections, seeing updates after media changes.
  • Admin flows: opening the demo panel from direct URL and “Staff only” link, switching albums.
  • Media upload: valid/invalid formats, large files, long filenames, duplicates, refresh during upload.
  • Reordering: drag-and-drop position changes and persistence after page reload.
  • Error handling: broken images, failed uploads, removing items still displayed in the gallery.
  • Responsive layout: usability on desktop, tablet and mobile widths.

Alevito Agency Landing Page

Internal marketing site on an alevito.es subdomain for our own creative studio. We use it as a realistic QA sandbox for hero messaging, services and contact flow.

QA focus
  • Layout and typography checks across desktop, tablet and narrow mobile breakpoints.
  • Contact form behaviour: required fields, invalid email/phone formats, error messages and edge cases.
  • Content and navigation: in-page anchors, external links and social icons staying consistent after content updates.

Tab Harbor — Link & Tools Organizer

Cross-platform productivity app for organizing links and tools into pages and sections. Desktop build plus Android version prepared for store review.

QA focus
  • User flows: creating, editing, reordering and deleting items and sections.
  • State persistence and backups between sessions and app restarts.
  • Mobile UX: small screens, on-screen keyboard, orientation changes.
  • Store-ready checks: startup behaviour, stability, permissions.

Space Harbor (R&D) & QA training projects

Ongoing internal project experimenting with modular navigation and long-term QA strategy, plus several training apps from Portnov Computer School.

QA focus
  • Exploratory testing of complex navigation and state transitions.
  • Practice on web apps and e-commerce flows, bug reporting and test case design.

How we usually work with teams

The exact scope depends on your product, but the structure stays simple. You always know what we’re testing, how long it takes and how to read the results.

Step 1

Quick intro & scope

Short call or async messages so we understand your app, release schedule and priorities.

Step 2

Test plan & estimate

We propose a concrete test scope (what we cover), time estimate and a simple format for bug reports.

Step 3

Execution & reporting

We run the agreed tests, log issues with clear steps to reproduce and keep you updated on progress.

Step 4

Fix verification & summary

After fixes we re-test the changed areas and send a short release-ready summary for your team.

Ready for a pilot project?

We currently have room for a pilot engagement. Tell us a bit about your app, stack and release date.
What you get in a free QA audit
  • 20–30 min intro call or async exchange about your product and priorities.
  • A short, focused pass through your main user flow (about 1–2 hours of manual testing).
  • A brief written summary with key issues, risks and suggested next steps.
  • No obligation to continue — you can use the notes with your current team.
Think of it as a low-pressure, clearly scoped way to start working together and see if our style fits your product.
